Here are some photos from a day we all went to play at Admiral Baker Park in September. Patrick is definitely an adventurous and agile toddler!

Patrick & I went hiking in Mission Trails Regional Park one

Saturday morning(
http://www.mtrp.org/ ). I was hoping to join up with a nature hike, but I forgot to take into account the extra time needed to navigate past Qualcomm Stadium on a Chargers game day. It was busy!!! I found it amusing to see Chicago Bears jerseys, reminiscent of our time in the windy city. I even had one Bears fan start waving at me in my car. Did I know this guy? Then I remembered I have Illinois license plates on my car - not that common out here on the West Coast.
We had lunch on the stone bench outside the nature center after we spent an hour and a half exploring some trails on our own.
This photo was taken after Patrick discovered my open gallon of green paint on the back porch. He was not happy to be pulled away from exploring the wonders of paint. (we tried finger paints the next day.)

We leave for our cruise to Baja, MX today... stay tuned for more photos & the details of our first official family vacation. Oh, and it rained here today!!! (1st time since we moved here!)
